Week 5 NFL Regular Season TNF Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons


 

Thursday night 🌃 football 🏈 featured a high scoring game and the NFC South Division Game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5 of the regular season. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield threw for 3 TD's 2 to Mike Evans and 1 to Sterling Shepard. 

In the game where it was back & forth and appeared that the Bucs would take over soul possession of the NFC South the Falcons made big plays when they needed to the most. Falcons QB Kirk Cousins had an MVP night throwing for 4 TD's 1 INT for 509 yards passing. Cousins threw 2 TD passes to Darnell Mooney, 1 to Drake London, and the game winner to KhaDarel Hodge in overtime as the Falcons won 36-30 in overtime in Atlanta. The Bucs (3-2) with the loss fall into a first place tie with the Falcons (3-2) which the Falcons now lead the division.

  If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization really believe that Tom Brady have moved on from them, then the Bucs should prepare to find a successor QB to Brady. Brady need time to weigh his options before he make up his mind and decide if he will come back for a 24th season in the NFL, return for a 4th Season with Tampa Bay, move on and play somewhere else or retire. I think that the Bucs is hindering their situation because they're hoping that Brady will say that he will come back and try and win another Superbowl ring 💍 with them. We should be focusing on going younger. Brady is hindering the Bucs by making them play the "waiting game." Like I mentioned in a previous post we didn't handle the Brady decision well. It's obvious that we need to focus on our running game and drafting an OL that was a big part of our success when we won the Superbowl in 2020. Week 13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. the Carolina Panthers

  This game sure looked like we were going to lose. Carolina is a division foe. Neither the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers like each other. The Panthers QB Bryce Young kept the Panthers in this game. Someone predicted the Bucs and Panthers score before they played and predicted exactly 💯. I look at this game and we escape with a 21-18 win at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. The Panthers QB on 3rd & 1 and 4th & 1 threw it both times. He threw it out of bounds the first time and the second time he threw it he was intercepted. The Bucs was able to get a first down on a running play on 3rd & 1 to run out the clock. Mike Evans got his 10th year of 10,000 yards reception when he scored a TD pass from Bucs QB Baker Mayfield today. The Bucs improve to (5-7) with the win tied with the New Orleans Saints (5-7) when they lost to the Detroit Lions 33-28 in New Orleans. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions Week 6 Regular Season

  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came off their bye week in week 5 of the Regular Season and hosted the red hot Detroit Lions at home in Raymond James Stadium Tampa, FL. Both Defenses were excellent but Detroit's Offense was more explosive in route to their 20-6 rout of the Bucs. The Bucs with the loss is now (3-2) and will host their division rivals Atlanta Falcons on Sunday October 22, 2023.
