Here are the highlights of Week 8 in the NFL Regular Season between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Probably one of the friendliest rivalry in the NFC South, too. The Bucs played their best even banged up due to injuries. The Bucs wore their Creamsicles throwback uniform from the 70's, 80's, and up till mid 90's. I was in Grand Rapids watching the scoreboard of this game as well. As a Bucs fan I'm proud of the way that they played. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield had 2 INT's and still almost won the game for the Bucs. The Falcons made big plays when they needed it the most despite missing a field goal and getting a safety. If at the end of the regular season because the Falcons swept the season series with the Bucs if they were to have identical records the Falcons would win the division. This division is a Bucs-Falcons division where either team can win it. Much respect for the Falcons 31-26 win over the Bucs in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.

  I missed putting up the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 3 26-7 loss to the Denver Broncos in Raymond James Stadium because I was finishing packing 🧳 to go to Atlanta, GA on Sunday September 22nd. I missed putting the score of this game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles because I went to my niece and great niece's church in Atlanta and went bowling 🎳 last Sunday September 29th. I was preparing to fly back to Hartford Monday morning September 30th.  Here is the highlights of the week 4 Eagles-Bucs game. 

  In week 1 of the regular season the Washington Commanders took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Raymond James Stadium 🏟️ in Tampa, FL. QB Baker Mayfield had an MVP type game for the Bucs throwing TD passes twice to Mike Evans, 1 TD to Chris Godwin, and 1 TD to rookie Jaylen McMillan for the Bucs.  Rookie Commanders QB Jayden Daniels was no slouch rushing for 2 TD's himself for the Commanders. Brian Robinson, Jr rushed for a TD for the Commanders. This game featured no turnovers by either team but at the end of the day Mayfield's Bucs routed Daniels Commanders 37-20. The Bucs with the win is (1-0) which is their 4th straight regular season opening win in franchise history. This a good win by the Bucs.

  The 4th seeded Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-8) routed the sputtering 5th seeded Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) 32-9 in Raymond James Stadium 🏟️ in Tampa, FL. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield threw for 3 touchdowns; one to David Moore, one to Trey Palmer, and one to Chris Godwin. This Bucs team along with head coach Todd Bowles have overcome a lot of adversity. The stumbling Eagles season was ended after losing in the 2022 Superbowl to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bucs leading 16-9 D forced Eagles QB Jalen Hurts into a safety after they sacked Hurts in the Eagles own end zone to go up 18-9. This game featuring some poor Eagles tackling and some drop passes thrown to Mike Evans and Cade Otton by Bucs QB Mayfield. The Eagles tried a brotherly love push on a 2-point conversion that would have cut the Bucs lead to 16-11 but it failed. The Bucs will be at the Detroit Lions on Sunday in the Divisional Playoffs.  

  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers played lousy football 🏈 today. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield was intercepted 2 times. The New Orleans Saints handled the Bucs 23-13 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. As a Bucs fan we should have taken care of business and won against our division foe Saints. It's simple why the Bucs got handled the way that they did today. Derek Carr picked a part the Bucs D. The Saints played like they needed the win and won. The Bucs played like they didn't need to win and got humiliated. The Bucs can clinch the NFC South Division with a win at the Carolina Panthers next Sunday. The loss snaps the Bucs (8-8) 4-game win streak. The Bucs are tied with the Saints (8-8) for first place in the NFC South. The Bucs remain in first place in the division because they have a better conference record than the Saints.

  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cruised to a 30-12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield was spectacular throwing 2 TD passes both to Mike Evans. Rachaad White ran for a TD and Mayfield threw passes on the money to David Moore and Cade Otton. The Bucs stifling D harassed Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence all night forcing 2 interceptions and recovering 2 Lawrence's fumbles. The Bucs with a win improve to (8-7). The Bucs have won four in a row and only need a win to clinch the NFC South Division.  The Bucs are a game ahead of both New Orleans Saints (7-8) when the Saints lost to the Los Angeles Rams 30-22 Thursday night in Los Angeles and when the Atlanta Falcons (7-8) routed the Indianapolis Colts 29-10 in Atlanta. The Bucs will host the Saints next Sunday.

  This game sure looked like we were going to lose. Carolina is a division foe. Neither the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers like each other. The Panthers QB Bryce Young kept the Panthers in this game. Someone predicted the Bucs and Panthers score before they played and predicted exactly 💯. I look at this game and we escape with a 21-18 win at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. The Panthers QB on 3rd & 1 and 4th & 1 threw it both times. He threw it out of bounds the first time and the second time he threw it he was intercepted. The Bucs was able to get a first down on a running play on 3rd & 1 to run out the clock. Mike Evans got his 10th year of 10,000 yards reception when he scored a TD pass from Bucs QB Baker Mayfield today. The Bucs improve to (5-7) with the win tied with the New Orleans Saints (5-7) when they lost to the Detroit Lions 33-28 in New Orleans.   Both D's were tenacious but both teams played like they were afraid 😳 to lose the game for their respective coaches. Perhaps the least rivalry in the division is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons. In the end of this low scoring game the Atlanta Falcons edged out the Tampa Buccaneers 16-13 in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. The Bucs with the loss in Week 7 fall to (3-3), a half game behind the Falcons (4-3) in the NFC South. As a Bucs you don't like to see your team lose but I tip my hats off to the Falcons because they made a big play and won on a 51-yard field goal as time expired. The Bucs will travel to Buffalo to play the Buffalo Bills on Thursday October 26, 2023 in Week 8.

  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came off their bye week in week 5 of the Regular Season and hosted the red hot Detroit Lions at home in Raymond James Stadium Tampa, FL. Both Defenses were excellent but Detroit's Offense was more explosive in route to their 20-6 rout of the Bucs. The Bucs with the loss is now (3-2) and will host their division rivals Atlanta Falcons on Sunday October 22, 2023.

  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers D was well tested. On Monday night football 🏈 the Philadelphia Eagles rolled past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 25-11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. Both the Bucs and Eagles D were aggressive tonight. The Eagles made big time plays to keep the Bucs from coming back in the game. The Bucs didn't make enough big plays when they needed to the most. The Bucs fall to 2-1 with the loss. The Bucs will have a chance to look at the film and rest a little until they play a division foe the New Orleans Saints at New Orleans on Sunday at 1 PM.

Once again, the Tampa Bay Bucs Defense made big plays and got the win against the Chicago Bears 27-17 at home in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. Baker Mayfield had a solid game throwing his only TD pass to Mike Evans. Rashaad White rushed for a TD and the Bucs D scored a TD. The win gives the Bucs a (2-0) record. I look at this Bucs team and they are on the same page both offensively and defensively.  Watching the highlights, I was impressed at how the Bucs competed. This Bucs team is looking good right now. The hard work put in at practice proves in these games that the Bucs are prepared when they go up against whoever their opponents are. GO BUCS!!
