Tampa Buccaneers vs. Philadelphia Eagles Super Wildcard Monday

 


The 4th seeded Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-8) routed the sputtering 5th seeded Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) 32-9 in Raymond James Stadium 🏟️ in Tampa, FL. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield threw for 3 touchdowns; one to David Moore, one to Trey Palmer, and one to Chris Godwin. This Bucs team along with head coach Todd Bowles have overcome a lot of adversity. The stumbling Eagles season was ended after losing in the 2022 Superbowl to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bucs leading 16-9 D forced Eagles QB Jalen Hurts into a safety after they sacked Hurts in the Eagles own end zone to go up 18-9.

This game featuring some poor Eagles tackling and some drop passes thrown to Mike Evans and Cade Otton by Bucs QB Mayfield. The Eagles tried a brotherly love push on a 2-point conversion that would have cut the Bucs lead to 16-11 but it failed. The Bucs will be at the Detroit Lions on Sunday in the Divisional Playoffs.

Bowles as a head coach is not going to win the Bucs Superbowl rings.

Tom Brady's future with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went from Superbowl Champions in 2020, losing in the Divisional playoffs in 2021, and losing in the Wildcard playoffs this past Monday night. Tom Brady 45 will decide if he will play for the Bucs for a 4th season, go to another NFL team or retire after to playing 23 Seasons in the NFL. If Brady, who will turn 46 on August 3 decide to go to another team it will be how Tampa Bay didn't keep things in place like they did when Bruce Arians was their head coach. BA was forced out of coaching and took an executive position with the Bucs because of the rumors of Brady being upset at times with BA and frustrated with the Bucs struggle offensively  and the whole Antonio Brown situation that caused the Bucs organization to cut AB because of AB's antics during the Tampa Bay Bucs and New York Jets game in 2021. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Minnesota Vikings Week 1 Regular Season

  We knew that this was going to be Post Tom Brady era with Baker Mayfield at QB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs D came up big and even when the Minnesota Vikings tied the game at 17, you could sense that Mayfield was going generate a game winning drive. Mayfield was great throwing 2 TD passes. One to Mike Evans and one to Trey Palmer. I'm proud of my team, we was able to get a 20-17 win on the road in Minneapolis. The Bucs is now (1-0) in the Regular season opener with the W. Mayfield looked great throwing the football. I am optimistic that this Bucs team is ready to take it to the next level. I thought that the Bucs executed the plays that coach Todd Bowles designed. Mayfield was poised under pressure and got rid of the football 🏈 when he needed to. It was like the Bucs were all on the same page when it came to making big plays on both offense and defense. It was a team win for the Bucs and the highlights reflected it.
