Tampa Bay Buccaneers Playoff Scenarios

 The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-8) heading in to Week 18 currently have the 4th seed if the regular season ended today in the NFL and would host the 5th seeded Philadelphia Eagles (11-5). The Bucs control their own destiny. If the Bucs beat Carolina Panthers (2-14) on Sunday clinch the NFC South regardless if the New Orleans Saints (8-8) beat the Atlanta Falcons (7-9). The only other way the Bucs would make the playoffs if they were to lose to Carolina on Sunday if the Green Bay Packers (8-8) and Seattle Seahawks (8-8) lose their final game. The Bucs own the tiebreaker over the Packers when they beat them 34-20 in Lambeau Field and the Bucs have a better conference record than the Seahawks.

Tom Brady's future with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went from Superbowl Champions in 2020, losing in the Divisional playoffs in 2021, and losing in the Wildcard playoffs this past Monday night. Tom Brady 45 will decide if he will play for the Bucs for a 4th season, go to another NFL team or retire after to playing 23 Seasons in the NFL. If Brady, who will turn 46 on August 3 decide to go to another team it will be how Tampa Bay didn't keep things in place like they did when Bruce Arians was their head coach. BA was forced out of coaching and took an executive position with the Bucs because of the rumors of Brady being upset at times with BA and frustrated with the Bucs struggle offensively  and the whole Antonio Brown situation that caused the Bucs organization to cut AB because of AB's antics during the Tampa Bay Bucs and New York Jets game in 2021. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Minnesota Vikings Week 1 Regular Season

  We knew that this was going to be Post Tom Brady era with Baker Mayfield at QB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs D came up big and even when the Minnesota Vikings tied the game at 17, you could sense that Mayfield was going generate a game winning drive. Mayfield was great throwing 2 TD passes. One to Mike Evans and one to Trey Palmer. I'm proud of my team, we was able to get a 20-17 win on the road in Minneapolis. The Bucs is now (1-0) in the Regular season opener with the W. Mayfield looked great throwing the football. I am optimistic that this Bucs team is ready to take it to the next level. I thought that the Bucs executed the plays that coach Todd Bowles designed. Mayfield was poised under pressure and got rid of the football 🏈 when he needed to. It was like the Bucs were all on the same page when it came to making big plays on both offense and defense. It was a team win for the Bucs and the highlights reflected it.
