Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Buffalo Bills Week 8 Regular Season

 



What a near hailmary miracle that was almost pulled off at the end of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills game last night. The Bills were up 24-10 and appeared to have their win secured until Baker Mayfield threw a TD pass to Chris Godwin and the successful 2-point conversion made it a 24-18 Bills lead. Mayfield had a chance at the end with a hailmary that had Chris Godwin would have looked for the football 🏈 he would have caught it for the TD and the Bucs could have won that game. Bills fans get a sigh of relieve and win because the football bounced off 3 Bills players and Godwin was open.

I can't express enough how proud I am of my team for clawing their way back in this game being down two scores. The resilience of the Bucs team to fight until the end on the road like that in Buffalo showed perseverance. The Bucs fall to (3-4) with the week 8 loss and they fall a game behind the Atlanta Falcons (4-3) in the NFC South. I believe it will be a fight between the the Bucs and Falcons for the Division. The Bucs will travel to Houston on Sunday November 5, 2023 to take on the Houston Texans where Bucs will look to get back to (.500).

  Thursday night 🌃 football 🏈 featured a high scoring game and the NFC South Division Game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5 of the regular season. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield threw for 3 TD's 2 to Mike Evans and 1 to Sterling Shepard.  In the game where it was back & forth and appeared that the Bucs would take over soul possession of the NFC South the Falcons made big plays when they needed to the most. Falcons QB Kirk Cousins had an MVP night throwing for 4 TD's 1 INT for 509 yards passing. Cousins threw 2 TD passes to Darnell Mooney, 1 to Drake London, and the game winner to KhaDarel Hodge in overtime as the Falcons won 36-30 in overtime in Atlanta. The Bucs (3-2) with the loss fall into a first place tie with the Falcons (3-2) which the Falcons now lead the division.

Here are the highlights of Week 8 in the NFL Regular Season between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Probably one of the friendliest rivalry in the NFC South, too. The Bucs played their best even banged up due to injuries. The Bucs wore their Creamsicles throwback uniform from the 70's, 80's, and up till mid 90's. I was in Grand Rapids watching the scoreboard of this game as well. As a Bucs fan I'm proud of the way that they played. Bucs QB Baker Mayfield had 2 INT's and still almost won the game for the Bucs. The Falcons made big plays when they needed it the most despite missing a field goal and getting a safety. If at the end of the regular season because the Falcons swept the season series with the Bucs if they were to have identical records the Falcons would win the division. This division is a Bucs-Falcons division where either team can win it. Much respect for the Falcons 31-26 win over the Bucs in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.

Week 1 NFL Regular Season Washington Commanders vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  In week 1 of the regular season the Washington Commanders took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Raymond James Stadium 🏟️ in Tampa, FL. QB Baker Mayfield had an MVP type game for the Bucs throwing TD passes twice to Mike Evans, 1 TD to Chris Godwin, and 1 TD to rookie Jaylen McMillan for the Bucs.  Rookie Commanders QB Jayden Daniels was no slouch rushing for 2 TD's himself for the Commanders. Brian Robinson, Jr rushed for a TD for the Commanders. This game featured no turnovers by either team but at the end of the day Mayfield's Bucs routed Daniels Commanders 37-20. The Bucs with the win is (1-0) which is their 4th straight regular season opening win in franchise history. This a good win by the Bucs.
